Phoenix Explorer Scout Unit offers Scouting and #SkillsForLife for young people aged 14-18 years in South Liverpool. We meet on Wednesday evenings 7:45 PM – 9:45 PM in the scout hut behind the Victoria Memorial Hall Club, off Church Road, Garston, L19 2LW. (Next door to the South Liverpool NHS treatment Centre) See this map to find us.

Pancake night! We made good old tin can pancakes …. There were mixed results. Last week the Police came for a visit and had a very interesting Q and A with our explorers. This week we made Christmas dinner kebabs on the fire. A chaotic but tasty evening that resulted in some yummy food (and a lot of left over sprouts)🎄 This morning saw our Explorers compete in the district Xmas bake off. Last Friday our Explorers took part in a very soggy and cold District night hike. Well done to everyone who took part for their map reading skills and perseverance, and thanks to @aardvarkandyy for organising once again! Tonight we did Strava Pictionary - the explorers drew and designed routes that created a picture. They then gave those routes to another group who followed the route whilst recording it on Strava. There were some mixed results 😂
